RunVault ("we," "us," or "our") operates a content automation platform that uses artificial intelligence to research market trends, analyze engagement data, and publish content on behalf of business clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our platform and its integrations, including Meta platforms (Instagram, Facebook).
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to operate our service:
- Instagram and Facebook account identifiers and profile information
- Content performance data (likes, shares, comments, reach, impressions)
- Post content and scheduling preferences provided by our clients
- Access tokens required to publish content on behalf of authorized accounts
- Market research data sourced from publicly available web sources
3. How We Use Information
Information collected is used solely to operate the RunVault platform for our clients:
- Publishing scheduled content to authorized Instagram and Facebook business accounts
- Analyzing content performance to optimize future publishing strategy
- Researching market trends to inform content recommendations
- Delivering performance reports and insights to account holders
We do not use collected data for advertising purposes, and we do not sell or share data with third parties outside of what is required to operate the service.
4. Meta Platform Data
RunVault accesses Meta platform data through the Instagram Graph API under permissions granted explicitly by each client. We request only the permissions necessary to perform the services described above. Specifically:
- instagram_basic — to read basic account information
- instagram_content_publish — to publish content to authorized accounts
- instagram_manage_insights — to read engagement and performance data
- pages_read_engagement — to read page-level engagement data
- pages_show_list — to identify connected pages
Data obtained through Meta APIs is used only for the specific purpose for which it was granted and is not shared with third parties.
5. Data Retention
We retain client account data and access tokens for the duration of the service agreement. Engagement and performance data may be retained for up to 12 months for trend analysis and optimization purposes. Clients may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting us.
6. Data Security
RunVault stores all client data on secured cloud infrastructure. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
7. Third-Party Services
Our platform integrates with the following third-party services to operate:
- Meta (Instagram Graph API) — content publishing and insights
- Anthropic — AI agent processing for content generation and analysis
- Amazon Web Services — cloud infrastructure and data storage
Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. RunVault is not responsible for the data practices of these providers.
8. Your Rights
Clients and users whose data we process have the right to:
- Request access to data we hold about them
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of their data
- Revoke platform access at any time by disconnecting their account
9. Children's Privacy
RunVault is a business-to-business platform and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
